Cheat mode
Some meals do not decompose into ingredients. You do not know how many pieces of meat you ate at the barbecue place, and you are not about to count.
Cheat mode is for exactly that. Instead of asking you to itemise, it gives you a few sliders and asks roughly where you landed.
How to use it
Switch to cheat mode
Pick cheat mode in the input area.
Describe the occasion
It does not need detail.
Korean barbecue buffetorwedding dinneris enough. You can also pick from the suggested occasions.Set the sliders
Kallo returns a few sliders from 0 to 10, each with a clear label at every level. Drag to whatever matches what you ate.
Confirm
Kallo converts the slider positions into nutrition and saves it to your log.
What the sliders are
Each slider covers a nutrient group, and every level on it is tied to a concrete weight anchor — not a vague "a little / a lot". The labels are written in everyday terms: how many pieces, how many bowls, how many trips back.
If the occasion involved drinks, you get a separate drinks slider that accounts for alcohol too.
How accurate is it
Less accurate than detailed logging, and that is fine.
Cheat-mode meals are marked separately in your log, so you can always tell a detailed estimate from a coarse one.
Repeating an occasion
If you go back to the same place often, a past occasion can be reused. Pick it again, adjust the sliders if today was different, and confirm.
When to use something else
- You know what you ate → describe the meal.
- You weighed it → manual logging.
- It came in a package → barcode scanning.
