Settings
Settings is a single page, divided into sections you can jump to with the in-page navigation.
Profile
Display name and avatar — this is what friends in Circle see. Your avatar photo is public so it can appear on your invite link and in friends' feeds: it is stored under a random, unguessable file name, and anyone who has that link can view it. Kallo resizes and re-encodes every photo on its servers before storing it, which also strips location and other metadata. Removing or replacing it deletes the old file from storage, though copies cached along the way may keep loading for a few minutes.
Body metrics and goal
Weight, height, age, biological sex, activity level, goal and the aggression slider.
When you change something that affects your targets, the save button shows the new target before you commit — you see the consequence before accepting it. If the pace you picked is a sharp one, Kallo says so.
More in Profile and targets.
Region and language
Country of origin, country of residence, and app language. The first two shape how Kallo reads dish names and default portions, so it is worth keeping them accurate.
Cooking habits
Oil use, default rice and protein portions, whether you finish the broth. If estimates are consistently off in the same direction, this is the first place to look.
Sharing
Turn automatic sharing to Circle on or off. It is off for a new account, so your meals stay private until you choose otherwise. See Sharing and splits.
Subscription
Your current Premium status and the plan management link. Detail in Kallo Premium.
Feedback
Report a bug, flag a missing ingredient, or suggest an idea — with a screenshot if it helps. Feedback goes straight to the team, tagged with your app version and the screen you were on so we can reproduce it.
If an ingredient is missing or matched wrongly, this is the fastest route to getting it fixed.
Account
Change your password, sign out, and delete your account.
A new password needs at least 8 characters, including a letter and a number. Length does more than symbols: a few unrelated words with a number beats a short word with letters swapped for symbols. Passwords can be up to 72 characters. Both limits count an accented letter (such as ă or ế) as 2 or 3 characters, so a password with accents reaches 8 sooner and 72 sooner. The letter must be one without an accent. Use one you do not use anywhere else. If you signed up with a shorter password, it still works; the new rule applies the next time you set one.
